Oppo Reno 10x zoom and Reno2 F receive final Android 11 update, Reno2 gets a beta

Looks like today was Oppo day. The Chinese company has made the Find X3 Pro, Find X3, Find X3 Neo, and Find X3 Lite official, but it didn’t forget some older devices either.

Oppo decided to release the update to ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 for two more devices today, to make it a full day indeed. We’re talking about the Oppo Reno 10x zoom and the Reno2 F. Back in January, the company opened up public betas for both, and now the finalized updates are fully baked.

The Reno 10x zoom update is version CPH1919EX_11_F.40 and is already rolling out in India and Indonesia, while the Reno2 F’s new build is CPH1989EX_11_F.11 and so far has only been spotted in India. If you’re in one of these countries and own one of these handsets and haven’t received an update notification yet, go to Settings > Software update if you wish to manually check. You may get a nifty surprise.

If, on the other hand, you have a Reno2, then Oppo is starting the beta phase for this model in India and Malaysia. To apply you first need to make sure you have the CPH1907EX_11_C.45 software version (check in Settings > About phone > Version). Then you simply head over to Settings > Software update, hit the cog-like icon in the top right of the screen, and apply for the beta using the guide that will show up. If you’re interested, act fast though, for there are limited spots available.
