The Oppo Ace2 is scheduled to arrive later today but before the official announcement takes place, Oppo decided to show out the phone’s might by benchmarking it on AnTuTu where the phone scored an impressive total of 615,984 points. Oppo also did a second test in a more “controlled” environment with the Ace2 placed in a refrigerator which helped it pump out an even better score of 627,553 points.

Both of these figures are higher than the current top-scoring Oppo Find X2 Pro which managed 606,389 points and topped the benchmarking platform chart for March.

There Ace2 is powered by the same flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. We previously saw a prototype unit of the device get tested on AnTutu but it only managed a 560,217-point score. With most of the specs cleared by now, the only remaining question mark is the Ace 2’s pricing and availability.
