Oppo A52 launched with Snapdragon 665 SoC, quad cameras and 5,000 mAh battery

Oppo is on a row lately and the latest midrange device from the manufacturer to go official is the brand new A52. The phone was launched in China earlier today with a four-camera setup, Snapdragon 665 chipset and a beefy 5,000 mAh battery.

Upfront we have a 6.5-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout for the 8MP selfie camera. The panel also boasts a tall 20:9 aspect ratio. The A52 comes with dual speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Around the back, we find the L-shaped four-camera setup with a 12MP main shooter alongside an 8MP ultra-wide snapper and two 2MP modules – one for macro photography and one for depth data. Under the hood, we have the Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which is expandable via microSD. The phone’s massive 5,000 mAh battery supports 18W charging.

On the software side, Oppo brought its ColorOS 7.1 on top of Android 10. The Oppo A52 comes in black and blue colors and retails for CNY 1,599 ($225/INR 17,300). There are no details on international availability for now.
