Oppo A38 leaks in full with specs and renders
Oppo is working on a new affordable midranger called A38. Images of the device leaked online, along with key specs, revealing the phone will feature a dual camera and the rear aesthetics of other recent Oppo A series, while the front will have a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera.
At the front we’ll reportedly get a 6.56” LCD with 720p resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The chipset should be a Helio G80. It is built on the 12 nm process, and Oppo will place 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage alongside.
The back will carry a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens, but the report was uncertain whether it is for depth shots or macro photos. Inside the waterdrop notch is going to be a 5 MP f/2.2 selfie camera.
Oppo A38 is said to bring a 5,000 mAh battery with a USB-C charging port, IP54 rating, and ColorOS 13 on top of Android 13. The phone will be launched next month in Europe for €159, followed by a rollout in India and other Asian countries.
