OnePlus 8 series to be unveiled in mid-April
OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro in May last year but it was rumored to announce their successors – OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro – in late March or sometime in April this year. Now a report by TechRadar India, citing a source close to the company, says that the OnePlus 8 series will be unveiled in mid-April.

OnePlus hasn’t officially divulged any information about the OnePlus 8 lineup yet, but from previous leaks, we know it will launch three smartphones under the 8 series – vanilla 8, Pro variant, and a Lite model.
It is currently unclear if the Lite variant will also be unveiled alongside the 8 and 8 Pro, but we don’t see any reason why it won’t.

That said, OnePlus usually holds Indian and global launch events on the same day, and we expect to see that happen this time as well. However, seeing how some brands unveiled their smartphones through online events this year due to Coronavirus, we may also see OnePlus adopt the same approach.
