OnePlus 11R production allegedly starts in India, launching in April or May
The OnePlus 11R keeps getting closer and closer. Today a new report claims that production for the model started in India. The phone is rumored to make its debut in the country in April or May.
The existence of the OnePlus 11R 5G has also been confirmed by the moniker being spotted on the OnePlus website. According to a previous rumor, the OnePlus 11R may be the global version of the handset that’s to be sold as the OnePlus Ace 2 in China.
The OnePlus 11R will be a more affordable high-end device to complement the all-out flagship OnePlus 11 in the company’s portfolio. The OnePlus 11 is getting its global launch in India on February 7.
Based on previous leaks and rumors, the OnePlus 11R should come with an underclocked version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC at the helm, a 6.7-inch 1240×2772 120 Hz AMOLED screen, 8/12/16GB of RAM, 128/256/512GB of storage, a 50 MP main rear camera, a 16 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging.
The OnePlus 11R will also apparently feature the alert slider and an IR blaster, an in-display fingerprint sensor, as well as OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13.
