One UI 2.1 update for Galaxy Note 9 scheduled to arrive in June

After phones in the Galaxy Note 10 series and the Galaxy S10 series received the One UI 2.1 update last month, it was being speculated that the Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S9 won’t receive the One UI 2.1 update. However, signs of One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S9 series slowly started appearing. Now a moderator of the Samsung Members community in South Korea has revealed that the One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy Note 9 is scheduled to arrive in June 2020. We had recently reported that the company is testing firmware version N960FXXU5ETD5 and N960NKSU3ETD1 in Europe and South Korea, respectively, and that these are One UI 2.1 updates for the Galaxy Note 9.A moderator from the software team at Samsung had revealed last week that the company is figuring out which features could be added to One UI 2.1 for the Galaxy Note 9. The South Korean firm might initially release the One UI 2.1 update in its home market and then in other regions throughout the world. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite uses the same Exynos 9810 processor as that of the Galaxy Note 9, and the former recently received the One UI 2.1 update. So, we don’t see a reason why the Galaxy Note 9 should not get the same update. The One UI 2.1 update brings new camera features like Single Take and Pro Mode for video. Other features include the AR Zone app, Music Share, and Quick Share.
