Official Android 12 One UI 4.1 beta update went live for Galaxy M31, M32

We didn’t expect to say this so close to the Galaxy A (2022) series’ official unveiling, but Samsung has launched the Android 12 (One UI 4.1) beta program for the Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M32.

More specifically, the beta program appears to have been opened briefly for Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M32 customers in India before Samsung closed the sign-up window, presumably due to high demand. The beta update for the Galaxy M31/M32 has firmware version M315FDDU2ZVB8/M325FDDU2ZVB4.

The invitations were sent via the Members app, and Samsung may yet open another sign-up window. The company could also make the Android 12 beta program available in other regions where the Galaxy M31 and M32 were released, so keep a close eye on the Members app and our news feed.

This will be the last major Android OS upgrade for the Galaxy M31, whereas the Galaxy M32 should eventually receive Android 13. For now, here’s hoping that the Android 12 beta program will go live in more regions soon and that Samsung will have a public build ready for release within the next few weeks.

Android 12 and One UI 4 enhance the user experience with more personalization options through “Material You,” redesign the home screen widget structure for the first time in many years, and more.
