Odyssey Neo G7 curved gaming monitor gets massive 45% discount
The Discover Samsung Summer Sale event has revealed another Deal of the Day, and you’re bound to love it if you’ve been waiting for a chance to buy a curved 4K gaming monitor with a regular 16:9 aspect ratio for a lower price.
Thanks to the ongoing summer sales event, Samsung is dropping almost 50% off the price of the Odyssey Neo G7 4K curved gaming monitor. It is now available for $599 instead of $1,099.
If you don’t want to buy the Odyssey Neo G7 outright, you can benefit from the $500 discount even if you pay for the monitor in 4 bi-weekly or 24 monthly installments through Samsung Financing. It costs $150 every two weeks or $25 a month (instead of $45.84).
A pure gaming monitor
The Odyssey Neo G7 is a pure Samsung gaming monitor that doesn’t run its own OS (Tizen) and doesn’t come with services like Samsung TV Plus, Gaming Hub, a web browser, or compatibility with streaming apps.
With that being said, this monitor doesn’t offer a stand-alone experience, which is great if what you’re looking for is a pure monitor experience for gaming. What you’re paying for is a good all-around screen with great features and no TV extras. You’re not paying for TV features that might end up unused, but for a good all-around monitor with great features.
The Neo G7 has a 32-inch VA 4K panel with a 1000R curvature and peak brightness of 1000 nits with 1,196 Quantum Matrix Mini LED dimming zones, which is a fantastic combination for HDR content.

Other specs include a 1ms (GtG) response time, a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and a versatile height-adjustable stand that can tilt, pivot, and swivel.
As far as connectivity goes, the Odyssey Neo G7 offers two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, a PC-In, two USB-A, and a 3.5mm headphone port.
