NZXT’s audio lineup can sense when you pick up headphones and swap audio

NZXT announced a lineup of audio products, including a headset, mixer, and headset stand. The lineup is the first time NZXT created audio products. The AER Headset ($130) is available with either open or closed back earpieces. The MXER audio control system ($100) facilitates smooth audio switching. The STND is a simple stand that’s avaialble in either black or white. The entire audio lineup is avaialble for preorder through NZXT’s website.

The AER Headset features a modular design with a swappable microphone. You can flip the microphone to the left or right side of the device or remove it to work with the rest of your setup. It supports 7.1 surround sound and has 40mm Hi-Res Audio certified drivers. It’s compatible with Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PCs.

The NZXT MXER allows people to switch between connected speakers and headsets without having to leave a game to make adjustments to audio settings. It includes a fader that allows gamers to mix in-game audio and voice to their preference and on-demand.

The NZXT STND has a simple-looking design, but can automatically switch your system audio between your speakers and your headset when you pair the STND with the NZXT MXER. It senses when you remove your headset from the stand and can work with the MXER to swap your audio.
