November 2022 update has landed on Galaxy S10e and Tab Active 3 LTE

The November 2022 security patch saga continues, with Samsung now rolling out the update to a couple more Galaxy devices, including a smartphone and a tablet. The devices in question are the Galaxy S10e compact flagship and the Galaxy Tab Active 3 LTE rugged tablet.

The Galaxy S10e update carries firmware version G970FXXSGHVK1. As of this writing, it is available in almost a dozen regions across Europe, including Switzerland, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Nordic countries, the Czech Republic, Greece, Poland, South East Europe, the Netherlands, Baltic countries, and Germany.

Oddly enough, the November 2022 security update appears to be available only for the compact Galaxy S10e variant rather than the entire series. For reasons unknown, the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ have so far been left out.

As for the rugged Galaxy Tab Active 3 LTE (SM-T575), the update containing the November 2022 security patch carries firmware version T575XXS3DVK2 and is available in Mexico, with more markets supposedly following soon.

Neither the Galaxy S10e nor the Galaxy Tab Active 3 LTE should get new features through these updates, save for better security. Samsung detailed the November 2022 security patch last week, and as usual, it includes more than a dozen fixes concerning Samsung’s proprietary software.

Galaxy S10e and Tab Active 3 LTE users should be able to download the new update, where available, upon receiving the notification or by accessing “Settings,” tapping “Software update,” followed by “Download and install.” Alternatively, SamMobile readers can download the update from the firmware section on our website, should they prefer updating their devices manually using a PC.
