No Man’s Sky welcomes Mass Effect with the addition of the Normandy
No Man’s Sky is in the middle of its Beachhead Expedition update. The update, one of many for No Man’s Sky, has players solve a series of complex puzzles and uncover encrypted goals. The community has finally reached the end of the event, and No Man’s Sky players were shocked to discover the addition of a ship from the Mass Effect series to their frigate fleet. That’s right, the legendary SSV Normandy SR1 can be found in No Man’s Sky for a limited time in celebration of the release of Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
No Man’s Sky is nearing its five-year anniversary, and apparently has some surprises for all the players that have stuck around to watch the game evolve and grow over time. If you haven’t experienced No Man’s Sky for yourself yet, it’s currently available through Xbox Game Pass on consoles, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition, on the other hand, is newly available to purchase and lets you revisit Mass Effect 1 through 3 with a ton of remastered visuals and modernizations. For Mass Effect veterans and newcomers alike, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition is the best way to play the epic RPG series.
Both No Man’s Sky and Mass Effect Legendary Edition make claims to a spot on our list of best Xbox games, so it’s truly awesome to see No Man’s Sky pay tribute to Mass Effect in such a cool way for players.
