New update to Samsung Home Up fixes Galaxy Z Fold issues

Samsung’s experimental Home Up feature that expands upon One UI home screen customization options is getting a bunch of fixes. Samsung is releasing a new Home Up update to version 14.0.00.29.

This new Home Up version addresses “some [unspecified] errors” and a couple of known issues, including a bug that changed the folder grid after rebooting the Galaxy phone or tablet and a grid setting bug that plagued Home Up on the Galaxy Z Fold series. Full official changelog below:

  • Fixed a bug that changed the folder grid after rebooting
  • Fixed the grid setting bug of the cover screen in Fold device.
  • Fixed some errors

Home Up is a Good Lock experimental feature, which means it is not distributed like other Samsung apps through the Galaxy Store. It is a component of Good Lock. It expands upon One UI Home customization with many more options than what users normally get through the default One UI experience.

Good Lock remains region locked to a handful of countries. However, Samsung added more markets to the Good Lock list in December and may continue to bring support to more regions as time goes by.
