New game modes and another fighter are in development for Bleeding Edge

While we’ve known for a while that the next character coming to Bleeding Edge is the cyborg dolphin Mekko, Ninja Theory has provided an update on what else players can expect over the next few weeks. To start, the developers have been working extensively on fixing issues of lag that players were reporting, with improved matchmaking based on connection strength. Mekko will also be added to the roster next week.

Further out, Ninja Theory is working on new game modes and another fighter is currently in development. Custom and ranked game modes are being explored and another map is also on the way. We don’t know exactly when these additions will roll out but they are coming.
