The Android version of the app is now at version 2108.820.2122, and the iOS version just bumped up to version 2108.825.2222.

Here’s what’s new for the iOS version of the Xbox app:

  • Find your achievements fast with new filter and sort options on the games list.

The Android version of the Xbox app includes the same changes plus an additional feature that will have the app show industry news and updates in the Gaming news channel:

  • New profile updates! You can now tap on the friend and follower buttons to review the full list of users, profile themes are now viewable, and the ‘Where I Play’ section has been added to the About tab.
  • Find your achievements fast with new filter and sort options on the games list.
  • Some people will start seeing industry news and updates with the new “Gaming news” channel on home.

Both versions of the app now have a ‘Where I Play’ section in the About tab. The Android version of the Xbox app also gains a ‘Gaming news’ channel on its home screen.
