Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ already renewed for second season

Netflix’s The Witcher premieres in December, but it looks like it’s already been renewed for another season. Netflix sure does have a lot of confidence in the series. According to a report by The Wrap, the show will get another season as this information was confirmed by Showrunner Lauren Hissrich.

Showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich will also return for the next batch of episodes, as will executive producers Tomek Baginski, Jason F. Brown, Sean Daniel, Mike Ostrowski, Steve Gaub, and Jarosław Sawko. Directors and additional cast information will be announced at a later date, Netflix says. ‘I’m so thrilled that before fans have even seen our first season, we are able to confirm that we’ll be returning to The Continent again to continue telling the stories of Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri,’ Hissrich said.

Let’s see what the show has in store for us on December 20. The latest trailer makes it sound like quite an epic adventure. However, only time will tell. We’re definitely excited for it though, mostly because the novels and games are stellar.
