The 15.6-inch GS66 Stealth represents MSI’s bid to pack a surprising gaming punch in a chassis you wouldn’t expect that kind of power from. The look of the laptop is all black, aiming for an understated design. The goal, MSI says, is to have a low-profile gaming laptop that you can also take to the office without batting an eye.

Underneath the sandblasted black exterior, you’ll find NVIDIA RTX SUPER series GPUs, and up to an Intel Core i9-10980HK processor. The new Intel chip alone offers up to 5.3GHz of single core performance, and can net nearly 50 percent greater speeds than a prior generation Core i7-9750H, MSI says.

With that sort of hardware on the inside, MSI has matched the GS66 with a 300Hz “IPS-level” display. In other words, you’ll be able to push fast, smooth framerates as high as the hardware can achieve. Powering it all is a 99.9 Whr battery.

MSI is also talking up the cooling in the GS66 Stealth, which it will need to counteract the speeds the Intel CPU is capable of. The Cooler Boost Trinity+ system, as MSI calls it, uses 0.1mm fan blades to drive more airflow.

Rounding things out is a Thunderbolt 3 port that can hit data transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps and 8K display output. There’s also per-key RGB lighting on the Steelseries keyboard.
