Underneath the sandblasted black exterior, you’ll find NVIDIA RTX SUPER series GPUs, and up to an Intel Core i9-10980HK processor. The new Intel chip alone offers up to 5.3GHz of single core performance, and can net nearly 50 percent greater speeds than a prior generation Core i7-9750H, MSI says.
With that sort of hardware on the inside, MSI has matched the GS66 with a 300Hz “IPS-level” display. In other words, you’ll be able to push fast, smooth framerates as high as the hardware can achieve. Powering it all is a 99.9 Whr battery.
MSI is also talking up the cooling in the GS66 Stealth, which it will need to counteract the speeds the Intel CPU is capable of. The Cooler Boost Trinity+ system, as MSI calls it, uses 0.1mm fan blades to drive more airflow.
Rounding things out is a Thunderbolt 3 port that can hit data transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps and 8K display output. There’s also per-key RGB lighting on the Steelseries keyboard.

MSI Creator 17

The Creator 17 can be equipped with up to an Intel Core i7-10875H, which is an 8-core CPU with a max single core turbo frequency of 5.1GHz. Where the Creator 17 really shines, however, is its display.
The screen on the Creator 17 is what MSI is calling the “world’s first Mini LED display” in a laptop. It’s a 4K panel that meets DisplayHDR1000 standards, which means it can hit over 1000 nits of brightness. Thanks to its Mini LED setup, you’ll also see more accurate colors and better contrast between the light and dark areas of the screen.
The Creator 17 weighs in at under 5.5 pounds and measures 0.80-inches thick. So, it’s not the lightest laptop around, but it’s not the thickest either.
