Misfit Command and Path get a new splash of color with Ronin edition

Misfit has announced a new take on its Command and Path hybrid smartwatches – the Misfit Ronin.

Before you get too excited, this is simply a new colorway of its existing watch duo, which adds a splash of navy and white for a more striking look.

But otherwise, the watches remain unchanged. The Misfit Command is the larger of the two at 45mm and sports a subdial that provides more information. The Phase is just 36mm and lacks the subdial, also getting just six months of battery life compared to the Command’s year.

Both are water resistant to 50 meters and both have automatic sleep tracking, along with steps, distance, calories etc – all the good stuff – but no GPS.

When we reviewed the Misfit Command last year, we praised its overall design and the Misfit Link feature, which lets you assign various functions to one of the watch buttons. However, we deducted points for the lack of depth in activity tracking.

The Ronin editions both cost $149.99, the same price as all the other color variants. Both are available to order now from Misfit’s site.
