Minecraft’s latest beta offers lots of bug fixes and improvements

Last mont, we finally saw the first beta for the Nether Update make its way to Xbox One and Windows 10 Minecraft insiders. Since then, Mojang has been hard at work tweaking and refining before adding any new features like we’ve seen in the Java Edition snapshots.

The latest beta isn’t any different, forgoing the allure of new biomes, mobs, and mechanics for a long list of optimizations, and solutions for known issues. If you were looking for exciting news, this probably isn’t it. However, these kinds of bug fixes are extremely important, and lead to a better experience for when the Nether Update finally releases. If you were waiting for a good time to jump into Minecraft’s beta program, these kinds of updates make that decision a lot easier.
