Microsoft’s last beta test for ‘Bleeding Edge’ goes live on March 13

Bleeding Edge is an upcoming 4v4 brawler from Ninja Theory, now part of Xbox Game Studios. The game revolves around brutal close-quarters combat, and is heading to Windows 10, Steam, and Xbox One on March 24, 2020.

Set in a dystopian cybernetic future, Bleeding Edge takes place in an underground fight club made up of hackers and engineers, who test their body mods and enhancements in bloody arena battles. The arenas are objective-oriented, with capture points and so on, complete with environmental hazards that players can exploit (or get destroyed by), using various character abilities.

Ninja Theory is running a final closed beta test for the game on March 13, 2020, across both PC and consoles. Here’s a few ways you can hop in and sample the game for yourself ahead of its full launch.

Essentially, there are two ways of getting into the closed beta either via pre-order or via Xbox Game Pass subscription, on either Xbox or PC.

If you pre-order, you’ll also gain access to a pack of cosmetic skins for good measure. You can grab the beta client after signing in via the link below, but it’s currently inactive until March 13, 2020.

Of course, the cheapest way to access the closed beta is via an Xbox Game Pass subscription, which also nets you hundreds of games in addition to all future Xbox Game Studios titles.

Bleeding Edge is being put together by a team of around 25 people, but has already impressed us with its quality, design, and frankly addictive gameplay. If you’re jumping into the beta, you’ll be able to test it out for yourself in a couple of weeks.
