Microsoft helps users fix orange screenshots through Snip & Sketch

Several users complained about screenshots from the Snip & Sketch app having an orange tint following the Windows 10 May 2019 Update, but it seems the issue is unrelated to Windows 10. Microsoft updated a support document with a fix for the orange screenshots that states the issue is connected to Lenovo Vantage’s Eye Care feature. The issue started around September 5, 2019, and both Microsoft and Lenovo have shared how to fix it (via OnMSFT).

The Eye Care mode feature of Lenovo Vantage can make screenshots appear as if they have an orange filter. Lenovo has a guide on how to fix the issue. Fixing the issue varies depending on which version of Lenovo Vantage you’re running.

This isn’t a rare problem with third-party eye care apps. Some eye care apps on Android phones create a similar problem. The fix for the issue is relatively simple in this case and is clearly outlined by Lenovo.
