Meizu 21 Pro incoming next month with a triple 50 MP camera
The Meizu 21 arrived in late 2023, but we never saw a Pro variant on stage. Reports from China suggested the Meizu 21 Pro will arrive in February and revealed some key features of the new phone.
The company, owned by automaker Geely, will bring a device with revamped cameras, 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.
The source claimed the main camera will have a 50 MP sensor. There will also be a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and there should also be a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and periscope lens. For comparison, the regular Meizu 21 is sold with a 200 MP main cam + 13 MP ultra-wide + 5 MP sensor in-between the RGB light.
The 16 GB + 1 TB memory combination is also an improvement over the vanilla version, which launched with no more than 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of storage.
FlymeAuto 10.5
We expect to see a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and FlymeOS 10.5 that supports FlymeAuto 4.0 – the maker’s in-car infotainment system compatible with the Geely Lynk & Co 08 electric SUV. The Meizu 21 Pro should cost more than CNY3,999 ($560) because that’s how much the basic Meizu 21 costs right now.
