Meet Samsung’s first Global Goals band for the Galaxy Watch series

Meet Samsung’s first-ever Global Goals wristband for the Galaxy Watch smartphone series. The company announced the new wrist strap design earlier this month at Unpacked, and more availability details have now been made official.

Samsung’s first Global Goals band for the Galaxy Watch series is accompanied by two watch faces that integrate with the Global Goals app. More to the point at hand, Samsung says it will donate 5% of its earnings from Global Goals Galaxy Watch band sales to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The new watch faces remind users of the 17 Global Goals the UN aims to complete by 2030 and display thought-provoking quotes.

Samsung’s Global Goals bands are launching in over a dozen markets

The Global Goals band is planned for release in 14 markets, and it’s already available for purchase in most. The wristband is sold separately from Samsung’s smartwatches and should hit the shelves in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

The band is compatible with a few Samsung smartwatches, including the Galaxy Watch 4 as well as the new Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro. It costs $49.99, which means that roughly $2.49 per band purchased will be donated to the UNDP. You can check the link below for more details.
