AMD nous informe de la publication de ses pilotes graphiques Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.10.2. Ils apportent des optimisations de performance pour trois jeux. Nous avons également plusieurs corrections de bugs.

Disponibles en téléchargement ces Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.10.2 optimisent les performances des titres Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, The Outer Worlds et Chernobylite (Early Access). Le focus est mis sur la Radeon RX 5700 XT avec des gains respectifs pour les deux premiers titres de 18% et 8 % face aux Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.10.1.

En parallèle AMD propose plusieurs corrections de bugs.

League of Legends ne devrait plus marquer un temps d’arrêt lors de son démarrage. Les plantages de Borderlands 3 après l’exécution du test de performance ou un changement de définition sont corrigés.  A cela s’ajoute un patch pour les soucis de scintillements lors de la lecture de contenu multimédia avec certains écrans connectés en USB Type-C.  Vous trouverez tous les détails en fin d’article.

Il y a également de nombreux problèmes connus et sans correctif. Plusieurs concernent les récentes Radeon RX 5700 series. Ces cartes peuvent occasionner des problèmes d’affichage en Full HD / Low Option  avec certains jeux et occasionner une perte d’affichage en sortie de veille ou de veille prolongée si plusieurs écrans sont connectés.

Fixed Issues

  • Launching League of Legends may cause the display to remain blank for a few seconds.
  • Radeon Chill may create an incorrect registry entry when enabled or disabled.
  • Borderlands 3 may experience an application hang after running the in-game benchmark or changing resolutions.
  • Flicker may be experienced while playing media in Movies and TV application when using some displays connected via USB Type-C.
  • Some Radeon RX Vega and Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products may intermittently experience a thread stuck crash or TDR when there is a high GPU load active.

Known Issues

  • The Outer Worlds may experience character models being rendered incorrectly on the inventory screen.
  • Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products may experience stutter in some games at 1080p and low game settings.
  • Performance Metrics Overlay may cause stutter or screen flashing on some applications.
  • Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products may experience display loss when resuming from sleep or hibernate when multiple displays are connected.
  • Toggling HDR may cause system instability during gaming when Radeon ReLive is enabled.
  • Stutter may be experienced when Radeon FreeSync is enabled on 240hz refresh displays with Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products.
  • AMD Radeon VII may experience elevated memory clocks at idle or on desktop.
