Lenovo announced the ThinkBook 14 and ThinkBook 15 at IFA 2019. The business-oriented laptops aim to deliver laptops good enough for business while remaining affordable. The ThinkBook 14 and 15 go on sale in November 2019 for $649 and $679 respectively.
The ThinkBook 14 runs on up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with AMD Radeon 620 graphics. Its display is a 14-inch FHD IPS panel. It has 4GB of DDR4 memory and up to 1TB PCIe SSD and a 2TB HDD dual drive. The laptop features Skype for Business hotkeys to help workers jump through tasks quickly. To make sure that workers have battery life, the ThinkBook 14 gets up to 12 hours of battery life according to Lenovo and also supports Rapidcharge.
The ThinkBook 15 has extremely similar specs to its smaller sibling. The screen is a large 15-inch FHD IPS display. On the inside, it runs on up to a 10th gen Intel Core i7 processor and AMD Radeon 625 graphics. It has 4GB of DDR4 RAM. It can have up to a 1TB PCIe SSD and a 2TB HDD dual drive. Like its smaller sibling, the ThinkBook 15 supports Rapidcharge, gets up to 12 hours of battery life according to Lenovo, and has Skype for Business hotkeys.
Both laptops also feature ThinkShutter and have an option for Smart Power On.
These laptops are designed for small and medium-sized businesses, so they don’t have incredibly high specifications. Instead, they have enough power for many business-oriented tasks in a laptop that is more affordable for businesses.
