Lenovo announced the Legion 5i and Legion 7i gaming laptops today. Both devices run on NVIDIA RTX SUPER GPUs with Max-Q designs and the latest 10th Gen Intel Core H-Series processors. The Legion 5i and Legion 7i succeed the Legion Y540 and Legion Y740 laptops. Lenovo did not share a release date for the new laptops, but the Legion 5i will start at $999, and the Legion 7i will start at $1,199.
The Legion 5i and Legion 7i are the first laptops to feature NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technology, which improves battery life. The feature dynamically detects GPU workloads and connects either the NVIDIA GPU or the integrated graphics processor depending on the workload. Both devices also support NVIDIA G-SYNC, which smooths gameplay and reduces tearing.
