Lenovo unveils 10w tablet, 13w laptop and new Windows 11 SE PCs
Lenovo announced a couple of new devices today, both of which are built for education. The Lenovo 10w is a 10.1-inch tablet that runs on a Snapdragon 7c processor. The Lenovo 13w is a convertible laptop that will be available with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 chip from the Ryzen 5000 U-Series. In addition to announcing the new PCs, Lenovo shared that the 14w, 100w, 300w, and 500w are now available with Windows 11 SE.
As it’s powered by a Snapdragon 7c CPU , the Lenovo 10w is an Always On, Always Connected PC. It features a 10.1-inch FHD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It also comes with a detachable keyboard, allowing it to convert into a traditional laptop. Lenovo highlights that the new tablet should get long battery life.
The Lenovo 13w is a clamshell laptop that can flip around into different modes. It runs on up to an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and supports 4G LTE connectivity. The laptop has a 13.3-inch FHD display made with Gorilla Glass and has a spill-resistant keyboard. Adding to its versatility, the Lenovo 13w also supports an optional garaged stylus.
Windows 11 SE is an edition of Windows that’s optimized for education. PCs running Windows 11 SE ship with Microsoft Office and are designed to deliver a computing experience with less distraction. Microsoft highlighted several Windows 11 SE PCs that are on the way in 2022. Among those are the 14w, 100w, 300w, and 500w, which are now available with the education-focused edition of Windows.
Lenovo also announced Lenovo NetFilter today, which protects PCs against malware and other forms of digital attacks. Lenovo NetFilter will become available in the first quarter of 2022.
