Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga now available with 10th Gen Core i7
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga now has an option for an Intel 10th Gen CPU. The processor packs more power than the Intel 8th Gen processors that are available in other variants, and also adds new features. The only version of the ThinkPad X1 Yoga that has the latest generation of Intel chips is the Intel Core i7 variant which is available for $2,729.
The lastest Intel 10th Gen chips increase performance and also add support for Thunderbolt 3 and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax).
The version that has an Intel 10th Gen processors also includes 16GB of LPDDR3 memory, a 256GB SSD M.2 PCIe-NVME, and Integrated Intel UHD Graphics.
The ThinkPad X1 Yoga has an aluminum chassis that weighs just over 3 pounds. It can be used as a traditional laptop or flip around into tent mode or tablet mode. It has a pen built into the body, so it’s always with you when you need it.
Why I chose the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga over Microsoft’s Surface Book 2
While Lenovo’s website only lists the Intel 10th Gen processor with the Intel Core i7, more versions running the latest processors are expected in the future.
