Leaked photos show a new Infinix Note model with 108MP camera, 120W fast charging

Infinix announced a trio of new devices last week, including the Note 12. It seems that this was only the start of a new series as an anonymous tipster sent us images of a new model along with some information about it.

Our source tells us that this is part of the Note series and judging from what we know, it will be a higher-end offering than the vanilla 12 – a sequel to the Infinix Note 11 Pro, perhaps.

You can see the 108 MP label on the back, that’s quite an upgrade over the 50 MP 1/2.8” sensor of the Note 12. Also, there is an extra camera and judging by the “12-24 mm” marking, it will be an ultra wide module (the vanilla Note only got a 2 MP depth sensor extra). Infinix previously used a 108 MP sensor on the Zero X Pro (an ISOCELL HM2).

Anyway, our tipster says that this Note model will probably be powered by the Helio G96. Compared to the G88 found inside the vanilla model, this means faster CPU cores (using two A76 cores instead of two A75), a similar Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and support for 108 MP sensors.

Last year we tested an Infinix concept phone that supported 160W fast charging. However, no production Infinix has broken the 100W barrier yet – something that might change with the new Note.

The USB-C port may support 120W fast charging (also note the 3.5 mm headphone jack)

If our info is correct, the company has been testing 120W fast charging for this model. We don’t know the battery capacity or the 0-100% charge time, but it will be much faster than the regular Note 12 (which has a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging support).

There is no word on the exact launch date yet, but it should be fairly soon.
