Latest NASCAR Heat 5 update lets you drive as Dale Jr.

Fans of NASCAR Heat 5 have a pretty hefty new update to download today that brings a number of tasty treats and a pile of fixes for good measure.

One of the most exciting new additions is the number 8 Dale Earnhardt Jr. Hellmann’s livery car to the Xfinity Series lineup. The 2021 Hall of Famer made his one and only appearance behind the wheel at last month’s Homestead Miami round and fans can now drive his distinctive looking yellow ride in NASCAR Heat 5.

Also being added is an alternative paint scheme for Bubba Wallace’s 43 Cup car, with the blue and yellow Sunoco livery a free addition outside of any future season pass paint jobs. There are also some new logos, custom fonts and paint schemes for folks who like to get into the paint booth.

NASCAR Heat 5

Not hugely different to the previous game but a solid package for fans

Much of NASCAR Heat 5 could probably have been applied to last year’s game as a DLC, but the new testing mode and beginner-friendly race setup tool in particular are nice additions. This is still the complete package for NASCAR fans.
