Journey to the Savage Planet launches on Xbox One and PC
Journey to the Savage Planet is a colorful space adventure that immerses you in a quest to explore a new planet, check out its wildlife, and figure out if it’s a suitable place for humans to settle.
Welcome to the Pioneer Program! In this upbeat and colorful, co-op adventure game you play as the newest recruit to Kindred Aerospace. Dropped onto an uncharted planet with little equipment and no real plan, you must explore, catalog alien flora and fauna and determine if this planet is fit for human habitation. But perhaps you are not the first to set foot here.
The game is now available on Xbox One and PC for $30. The title looks incredibly sharp on Xbox One X, even though the Microsoft Store says that it’s not Xbox One X Enhanced.
In Windows Central’s review, Jennifer Locke wrote, “The world of AR-Y 26 is full of diverse biomes that I only wanted to see more of. The game’s short length is a double-edged sword because while I appreciate a game that you can get through in under 10-hours, those still weren’t enough for me. Barring the frustrations, I had with its combat and the end boss battle, I loved it. And I’d really love a sequel. The ending leaves room for more stories to be told.”

Journey to the Savage Planet
An uncharted planet fit for humanity
Journey to the Savage Planet is full of breathtaking alien environments that you’re encouraged to explore. I loved solving all of its puzzles and scanning each new flora and fauna I came across, but the shooting mechanics and world-building could use work.
