It’s not just you, it seems that Discord for web and PC is down (update)
Update: Discord says it has implemented a fix and is monitoring recovery. Close and re-open the client and it should be working as normal!
Original article:
Discord is a free chat program used primarily by gamers for building communities and communicating with friends. The app has largely replaced competitors like Skype and older solutions like TeamSpeak as the go-to platform for gaming comms, and it’s rare that the service has a widespread outage. However, it does appear to be down right now.
As of writing, the entire web and PC Discord clients are showing an odd XML error, instead of displaying its usual interface, as shown in the picture above. However, mobile app versions on iOS and Android should still work.
The official Discord Status page is showing a “Root site availability” issue, and the firm acknowledged the issue on their official Twitter feed.
Ahh don’t look, we’re fixing it!
