Huawei P40 launch date confirmed once again, will have a massive camera bump
Huawei is preparing its next flagship lineup – the P40 and P40 Pro and even the P40 Premium Edition. The CEO Richard Yu said the launch will take place on March 26 in Paris, France, and today the official teaser of the launch appeared on the company website.
The teaser also gives us a sneak peek of the camera setup, which will sit on an impressively big bump that was rumored to hold at least five shooters.
All the Huawei P40 phones are coming e with Kirin 990 chipset, although some of them might have the 5G variant of the SoC, depending on the market. According to earlier rumors the P40 will be the most affordable of three, the P40 Pro coming with a 52 MP main cam + 40 MP cine shooter + 8 MP telephoto module with 125 mm lens.
The P40 Premium Edition’s five cams will include everything you ever wanted from a smartphone camera setup – an ultrawide angle shooter, a periscope telephoto lens, a massive sensor for the main cam, ToF sensor and even a macro cam for all those close-up shots.
Huawei will livestream the whole event so you can follow it from the comfort of your home or office.
