Huawei continues to test the international waters and the Mate 30 Pro will soon land in another country – Singapore. Note that only a few units will be available and then only in a very exclusive fashion. If you want one, you’ll have to sign up at the official site and you’ll even have to take a quiz about the capabilities of the new flagship.
You can use our Huawei Mate 30 Pro page as a cheat sheet. Only 200 people who registered their interest will be selected and will be invited at a VIP event where they will have the option to buy the phone.
Registrations close at midnight on October 15, the “VIP tasting” as Huawei calls it will be held on October 25 and 26. The Mate 30 Pro will cost you SGD 1,300 (which works out to around €860, that’s a lot lower than the Euro prices), but you’ll get goodies worth SGD 463.
Those include a DJI Osmo Mobile 3, a 12,000mAh Huawei 40W SuperCharge power bank, a 27W Huawei Super Charge Wireless car charger and a protective PU case by Casee. That’s basically all the add on equipment you might need before taking your phone on an adventure.
Note that this is the 4G version of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro – the 5G model is yet to leave China. Previously, both the Pro and the vanilla Mate 30 reached Malaysia and Romania. the phones run Huawei Mobile Services, so you’ll be downloading apps from Huawei’s AppGallery.
