HP’s new ProBooks run on AMD’s Ryzen 4000 series processors
HP announced two new laptops today, the HP ProBook 445 G7 and the HP ProBook 455 G7. Both laptops run on AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors and are the first HP commercial products to use processors from that series. The devices include several security features, including HP Sure Start, HP Sure Sense, and a self-healing BIOS. Both devices should be available in late April 2020.
You can get either laptop with a four-,six-, or eight-core mobile processor depending on your power demands. The laptops support HP Fast Charge and can recharge up to 50 percent battery in thirty minutes.
HP highlights several aspects of the laptop that make it a good choice for business customers. Both laptops have a 180-degree hinge that allows the screen to lay flat. They also each passed 19 MIL-STG 810G tests for durability.
