HP’s new M24 and M27 Webcam Monitors will help you conference on a budget
HP has a video conferencing monitor for everyone this CES. In addition to its E24m, E27m, and E34m, it also has the M24 and M27 Webcam Monitors coming early in January 2022 for the prices of $319 and $359.
Both monitors feature full HD (FHD) IPS displays, 16:9 aspect ratios, 300 nits of brightness, and 75Hz refresh rate maximums. They’re Eyesafe and TÜV certified, in case you’re worried about blue light protection.
The M24 and M27 feature AMD FreeSync support, though they’re also bound to 5ms response times, meaning you may not want to use these for competitive gaming purposes. However, for video conferencing, they appear to have everything one could ask for at the sub-$400 price range. Each monitor has integrated speakers and a 5MP webcam with dual microphones, making them a one-stop shop for all your Microsoft Teams needs.
