How to craft in Cyberpunk 2077
In Cyberpunk 2077, players can equip a wide range of cybernetic implants and powerful weapons to provide augmented abilities and increased lethality. It’s not always about looting and buying better guns though, as you can also take advantage of the crafting system to create your own equipment — provided you’ve got the appropriate parts. Here’s what you need to know about crafting in Cyberpunk 2077.

Some items can also be upgraded, which similarly requires a certain number of components. Every blueprint has a cost and there are four kinds of components that could be required: common, uncommon, rare and legendary, which are helpfully color-coded as grey, green, blue and purple. Just go to the Crafting tab in your Inventory and select the blueprint or upgrade you’re interested in. If you don’t have enough components for the blueprint or upgrade, it’ll read as Blocked.
Getting components is incredibly easy. One you’ve finished a firefight, just take time to loot all the guns your foes leave behind, go to your inventory and disassemble the guns. Naturally, the better the gun, the better the components you’ll receive.
