According to Microsoft, the battery on the Surface Pro 7 is capable of lasting about ten and a half hours on a full charge based on “typical Surface device usage.” This isn’t bad; in fact, it’s average, and in general, will be enough for most users. However, it’s not great either, and people who are going to want to use the device for more intensive things like editing media will likely drain the device’s battery at a quicker pace.

Thankfully, the Surface Pro 7 supports Microsoft’s Fast Charging capabilities. With about an hour of charging, the device will be able to regain 80% of its battery. This means that if you can stay near an outlet for part of your day, you can extend the battery life significantly.
