Honor X30 appears in official images, live photos

Honor will unveil the X30 on December 16, and just two days before the announcement the company teased the looks of the phone on its Weibo page. The new smartphone will have a flat screen with a punch hole in the center, while the setup on the back will have three cameras on an Oreo-shaped island.

Several hours after the post, we get to see live shots of the phone in three colors, revealing what the Honor X30 looks like in real life – pretty, with a glossy panel and a colored internal ring within the camera setup.

The leakster said the screen will be 6.7” in diagonal and of the LCD variety, which we already knew from a previous leak. The chipset is said to be a Snapdragon 695, and while we don’t have official specs on the cameras, we can clearly see two of them are sensors for portrait shots and macro photos, and only one of them can be used as a proper camera in multiple scenarios.

All unknowns will be revealed on Thursday, with the event being scheduled for 15:30 Chinese time. We expect to hear pricing and launch dates, but we’ll have to wait a bit more to learn whether the X30 series will exit China in the near future.
