The Honor V30 and V30 Pro arriving on November 26 were expected to ship with the flagship Kirin 990 SoC, and just three days ahead of the unveiling, the company has officially confirmed that the V30 series will indeed have the Kirin 990 chipset under the hood.
Honor made this announcement by posting a short video clip on Weibo, and in addition to that, the company once again confirmed that the V30 series will come with 5G support.
In another news, an image posted on Weibo reveals that the Honor V30 will be priced CNY4,999 ($710/€645) and come with a feature called Matrix Camera.
The V30 was recently spotted on AnTuTu and the listing revealed that it will come with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, Android 10 and a Full HD+ screen, which from previous leaks and official promo materials we know will have an oval-shaped hole in the upper-left corner for the dual selfie camera.
We will know more about the V30 series’ specs, pricing, and availability on next Tuesday.
