HONOR announced three new laptops today; the MagicBook V 14, MagicBook 16, and MagicBook 16 Pro. The laptops are available for preorder in China starting today. The MagicBook 14 starts at 6199 RMB (roughly $960), and the MagicBook 16 devices start at 6499 RMB (roughly $1,006).
The MagicBook V 14 is the company’s first laptop powered by the Intel Evo platform. It’s also “among the first laptops” to ship with Windows 11. It runs on an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11390H processor and NVIDIA MX450 graphics. The MagicBook V 14 has options with up to 16GB of LPDDR4x memory and 512GB of PCIe SSD storage.
The MagicBook V 14 has a 14.2-inch touch display that supports 1.07-billion colors. The display has a resolution of 2520 x 1680 and three eye protection certifications, including TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification. People can preorder the laptop in Blue Hour, Space Gray, and Mystic Silver.
When Microsoft and HONOR announced an expanded partnership earlier this month, Microsoft said that “the HONOR MagicBook V 14 laptop will be the world’s first batch of computers to come pre-installed with Windows 11.” HONOR now says the device will be “among the first laptops” with the new operating system.
The MagicBook 16 and 16 Pro run on AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics. The laptops have up to 16GB of DDR4 dual-channel memory and 512GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
