Honor 80 GT arriving on December 26, new Honor tablet also incoming
Honor posted a teaser on its Weibo page, announcing a new smartphone launch. The Honor 80 GT, certified last week by 3C in China, will be officially introduced next Monday, December 26.
The phone will share the stage with a new Honor Pad pictured in a second teaser. There is no word on the slate’s actual, but it will support an Honor stylus and an LED flash for the sole camera on the back.
Honor V8 Pro and Honor 80 GT teasers
Honor 80 GT will be the fourth phone in the 80 series unveiled just last month. It will have three cameras, lined up vertically, but unlike the Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro, the island does not appear to be stylized with the number 8 (which could also be interpreted as the sign for infinity).
The camera design and volume rocker placement suggest that the upcoming Honor Pad is entirely new. Rumors suggest it could be called Honor V8 Pro, and we expect to learn more from official teasers in the seven days leading to the event.
