Honor 60 SE unveiled with a familiar camera design

The Honor 60 SE smartphone was silently unveiled today. The company did not hold any launch whatsoever, and just posted the device on its mobile website while handing out some units to social media influencers in China.

The island for the main camera setup is obviously influenced by the iPhone Pro series, but underneath is a straightforward midranger with a Dimensity 900 chipset and 8 GB RAM.

The Honor 60 SE specs are not officially in the listing, the company is withholding them at this point. Thankfully, the online celebrities that have access to the device gave out some info, like the 6.67” OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The battery of the 60 SE is a 4,300 mAh power cell with 66W fast charging. Despite its size, the phone weighs just 173 grams.

Media representatives in China rarely go off the script, so no one is revealing more than what they have in the press release – a 64 MP “main vlog camera”, 58-degree curved screen, and Magic UI 5.0 out of the box that will eventually be updated to Magic UI 6.0.
