Halo: The Master Chief Collection hit nearly 3 million players at PC launch

While we already knew that Halo: The Master Chief Collection was having a strong start on Steam, Xbox has provided further figures showing just how well it is doing. According to a new press release from Xbox, Halo: The Master Chief Collection had nearly 3 million players across Xbox and PC during the game’s launch week on PC.

The press release also notes that this was the highest-ranking debut of an Xbox Game Studios title on Steam, an award previously held by Gears 5 earlier in the year. It’s important to note that right now, Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC only includes Halo: Reach. The several remaining Halo games will be coming at a later date.
