The Halo Infinite campaign and its Zeta Halo open world is home to many silly easter eggs, ranging from dolls of popular Halo characters and a Craig “Greatest Hits” album to secret buttons that rain explosives down on the Banished and a Scorpion Gun that operates much like the Scarab Guns of yesteryear. However, some of the Halo community’s most thorough explorers have discovered what could be the strangest easter egg of all: a giant sandwich being worshipped by Grunts, located deep in a cave within a cavern that can only be accessed with the Grappleshot.

To find the sandwich yourself, you’ll need to travel to the southeastern edge of the very first landmass that you can explore during the campaign. Just southeast of the nearby Banished outpost, you’ll come across a deep cave that’s filled with Banished troops.

Push through the cave until you come across a large room with Forerunner structures in the background, then Grappleshot your way up the hexagonal pillars on the left side of the room. You should notice a small opening in the roof; Grappleshot through it and you’ll find yourself standing next to the giant sandwich and its Grunt worshippers. Watch the video below for some visual instructions.

Beyond the fact that the sandwich is gigantic and has an absurd amount of raw onions on it, there’s not anything special about it — after all, you can’t push it around the environment or take a big bite. Still, it’s quite a silly find, especially since the sandwich is being adored by a group of Banished Grunts. I guess you can’t fight Master Chief on an empty stomach, can you?

The Halo Infinite campaign is available now for $60 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Windows PCs. It’s one of the best Xbox shooters ever made, so you should definitely pick it up and give it a shot.
