Halo Infinite players face blue screen following beta launch

Halo Infinite multiplayer surprise launched as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of Xbox. As players rush to download the multiplayer, many are reporting an issue of just seeing a blank blue screen when trying to boot the game. If you’re one of the players running into this issue, try rebooting your console. If it still doesn’t boot up, hang on. Due to the nature of this surprise launch, the multiplayer servers are still coming online in various regions.

Halo Infinite’s campaign is still slated to launch on Dec. 8, 2021. The game features the most wide-open Halo campaign yet and like the multiplayer, it’s available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC. The campaign will also be available in Xbox Game Pass at launch.
