Grab a new LG 27-inch 1440p gaming monitor and Xbox controller for $369

If you’re an Xbox gamer, this is an interesting deal that combines a really solid gaming monitor, an Xbox Core controller, and some good savings! If you go for the unique LG UltraGear 27-inch UN880-B gaming monitor at BuyDig, it currently comes with an Xbox Core Controller for free. That’s already a pretty sweet add-on, but if you use the code VEG25 that takes another chunk off the price and brings the whole bundle down to just $369. The controller itself goes for around $50 (or $65 at BuyDig), and you can find the monitor going for as much as $500 at other retailers like Amazon. Getting both for just $369 is quite a bargain.

This is the Xbox controller updated for the newest generation of consoles. It offers some major improvements on the otherwise classic design, including a hybrid D-pad, the textured grips, and the share button in the middle. It also uses USB-C for charging instead of microUSB, which is an important and welcomed change. It’s also slightly smaller than the Xbox One controller, which means it should feel more comfortable to a wider range of gamers.

The monitor itself is no slouch, either. It’s a great gaming screen as most LG monitors are. It has a 27-inch screen with a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1440. It also has a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms response time. The screen has an IPS panel, too, despite the super fast response time. So it still maintains great color accuracy and viewing angles.

In addition to those specifications, the screen also has adaptive sync technology built in. Reduce motion blur and screen tearing while gaming, especially when dealing with high-octane FPS games. The default is AMD FreeSync, but it is also Nvidia G-Sync compatible. So you can work with your AMD graphics card or a Nvidia graphics card that’s from the 20xx series or higher. You will need to plug in via the DisplayPort to take advantage of G-Sync, but that’s also what you’ll want to use for the 144Hz refresh rate anyway.

The monitor also has a very unique Ergo Stand that can extend, retract, swivel, pivot, and tilt. It’s also height adjustable. If it doesn’t work for you, the display has 100 x 100mm VESA mounting to attach to a wall or arm.
