Grab a gift card worth up to $25 with the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset

Less than a week ago we shared a deal from Newegg featuring the 128GB Oculus Quest 2 VR headset and the $10 promotional gift card that comes with it. That deal is still live on Newegg, but if you wanted to upgrade to 256GB you now have a couple more options available.

Buy the 256GB Oculus Quest 2 by itself and you’ll get a $15 gift card for Newegg. Or you can combine it with the Elite Strap with Battery and get a $25 gift card. The Elite Strap is an essential accessory that adds to the portable life of your VR headset with an extra battery while also improving the comfort of the fit on your head. Of course, the combo deal adds up to about $508 total since the base price of the 256GB headset is $399 and the accessory is $109, but that’s not any different than you would pay anywhere else.

The gift card is emailed to you four days after you buy the VR headset, and it expires in one year after it is issued. Put the $10 toward a new accessory for your headset or just save it for when you really need to purchase something.

We don’t see a lot of Oculus Quest 2 deals, so any kind of savings is good savings. The gift card is yours to do with as you please, so spend it on something to enhance your new VR headset or don’t. It’s up to you.

The Oculus Quest 2 is an excellent way to go if you’re looking to get into virtual reality for the first time. It has an awesome balance of great tech and a decent price. Plus, as a standalone headset you don’t need a fancy computer to support it. Of course you can definitely invest in one if you want, and there are advantages to hooking your system up to a PC like access to the entire SteamVR library for one thing. You’ll always have full access to the Oculus store and its content library, though, so you won’t be lacking games to play or events to experience.

One really nice thing about the Oculus Quest 2 is its backwards compatibility. Play games designed for the original Oculus Quest, too, and see how virtual reality has evolved over the years. Get plenty of other things to do besides games, including concerts and custom workouts and things like that. With the super fast processor and high-resolution display, you’ll be fully immersed in whatever you choose to do.

We regularly look at all the latest Oculus Quest 2 deals and try to keep this roundup as up-to-date as possible, so keep checking back for more possibilities.
