The German mobile bank N26 is already supporting Google Pay, but it has now expanded to half a dozen European countries. Looking at the list, half of the financial institutions are based in Denmark – a lot of the Sparekassen (savings banks) now support NFC payments, meaning they can easily join the Google Pay family.

Last time we saw such a massive rollout was in July when 25 banks were added. The service is currently available in 30 countries all over the globe, supporting hundreds of traditional banks and modern fin-tech platforms like Revolut, Monzo, etc.
