Get some Battletoads ship livery in Sea of Thieves for playing Battletoads
August 20, 2020 is a big day for some people, with the long awaited return of the Battletoads franchise dropping for Xbox and PC platforms, complete with full Xbox Game Pass support. The new game comes from a partnership between Rare and Dlala Studios, and should be another great entry for any fans of co-op games on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. To celebrate the new launch, Rare is debuting a brand-new ship livery in Sea of Thieves, which any player who completes at least Act One of Battletoads can claim for free.

To celebrate, anyone who finishes Act One of the raucous multi-genre adventure, at any time, will be able to festoon their ship with a family of fighting frogs! Or are they toads? We hear it’s a wart thing. pic.twitter.com/1BRKaglxHE

The event isn’t time-locked either, so you can take your time with Battletoads and jump on at any point, and as long as you complete Act One you can grab the neat looking Battletoads livery from Sea of Thieves, which decks your seafaring vessel out in green in gold, with frog (toad?) themed accents adorning every surface. It looks quite nice, even for someone who has no experience with the Battletoads franchise.
